A suction cup-type fixing base (200) for a camera device and a conversion assembly thereof. The conversion assembly (4) comprises a fixing member (41) and a locking assembly (42) fixed on the fixing member (41). The locking assembly (42) comprises a positioning member (420) fixed on the fixing member (41), a movable member (421) movably positioned between the fixing member (41) and the positioning member (420), and at least one reset member (422) provided between the positioning member (420) and the movable member (421). A connecting member (5) connected to the camera device can pass through the fixing member (41) and be locked by means of the fixing member (41), the movable member (421), and the at least one reset member (422) working in conjunction with each other. The suction cup-type fixing base (200) for a camera device and the conversion assembly thereof have simple and compact structures, and are easy to carry, and can be easily and quickly installed or removed, and can be automatically locked and achieve reliable locking effect, thus improving the convenience and safety of connection.
