Abstract:
A powder can be sucked in without leaving a residual and transported, the powder being in a container like a drum and being in the condition of a low fluidity due to time-dependent consolidation caused by the weight of the powder itself, consolidation caused by an external vibration, moisture, and other factors.
A suction device (1) for the powder comprises: a movable table (2, 3) movable within a horizontal surface on which a container storing the powder is placed; a driving means (5a, 5b) for driving the movable table; a double-structured suction nozzle (11) positioned above the movable table and connected to a suction source; a suction nozzle up and down means (12) for moving the suction nozzle up and down in a container placed on the movable table; and a control device for controlling the driving means and the suction nozzle up and down means. While moving the movable table, the suction nozzle is inserted into an appropriate position in the container to suck the powder in the container.
