Abstract:
Provided is a suction device configured so that sound and vibration during use can be suppressed. A suction device is provided with: a flow passage forming section (1) having a suction opening (20) which sucks in fluid, a discharge opening (29) which discharges the fluid, and a fluid passage (2) which is sealed against the outside except at the suction opening (20) and the discharge opening (29) and through which the fluid flows; and a piezo-electric drive section (33) for generating, in the flow passage (2), the flow of the fluid. The piezo-electric drive section (33) comprises a diaphragm (37) and a piezo-electric element (34), the diaphragm (37) and the piezo-electric element (34) constituting a movable section for transmitting drive force to the fluid. The entire movable section is disposed within the flow passage (2).
