Abstract:
A suction motor mounting hood (100) and a cleaning apparatus (300). The suction motor mounting hood (100) comprises a hood body (1) and a cover covering an upper end opening of the hood body (1), and further comprises a first air duct (3) and at least one second air duct (4). The first air duct (3) is formed between an upper portion of the hood body (1) and a suction motor, and is arranged around the suction motor (200); and the first air duct (3) is in communication with an air outlet in the suction motor (200). The at least one second air duct (4) is arranged in a lower portion of the hood body (1); each second air duct (4) is in communication with the first air duct (3) by means of a vent (5), and each second air duct (4) comprises a plurality of sub-air ducts (41, 42) which are in communication with each other in sequence; and the plurality of sub-air ducts (41, 42) are configured to enable air to circuitously flow in a first direction that is the same as a rotation direction of the suction motor (200) and in a second direction opposite the first direction. The air entering the hood body (1) is diverted, so as to slow down an airflow, thereby effectively reducing noise generated during operation of the suction motor (200).
