Abstract:
The present invention relates to a sulfide solid electrolyte containing Li, P, S and a halogen. Provided is a novel sulfide solid electrolyte that can be used as a solid electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery and the like, and that can suppress the generation of hydrogen sulfide gas even when subjected to atmospheric moisture. This sulfide solid electrolyte comprises: a crystal phase or a compound that has an argyrodite-type structure containing Li, P, S and a halogen; and a compound that is composed of Li, Cl and Br, and that, in the X-ray diffraction pattern, has peaks at 2θ = 29.1° ± 0.5° and 33.7° ± 0.5°.
