Abstract:
The present invention relates to a sulfur-carbon composite and a lithium-sulfur battery including same, and more particularly, to a sulfur-carbon composite which includes a porous carbon material, an electrolytic solution-carrying polymer, and sulfur, wherein sulfur is mixed with the porous carbon material coated with the electrolytic solution-carrying polymer. According to the present invention, by incorporating a coating layer, which includes the electrolytic solution-carrying polymer, on the surface of the porous carbon material, the reactivity of sulfur and the electrolytic solution can be improved to thereby enhance the performance and lifetime properties of a lithium-sulfur battery.
