Abstract:
A sun visor for a vehicle, having an air flow path capable of taking in air from the occupant side both when a light shielding body is in a stowed position and when it is in a light shielding position. A sun visor (1) having a light shielding body (2, 5) pivoted between a light shielding position where the body is along a windshield (11) and a stowed position where it is along a vehicle interior ceiling surface (10), an air purifier (7) arranged in a hollow section of the light shielding body, an air flow path formed in the light shielding body to allow air to flow to the air purifier (7), and a blower (6) provided on the light shielding body. The air flow path has air flow paths (23, 24) for the light shielding position and air flow paths (32, 35) for the stowed position. When the light shielding body is in the light shielding position, the air flow paths (23, 24) for the light shielding position take in air, by using the blower (6), from that side of the light shielding body which faces a vehicle occupant and guide the air to the air purifier (7). When the light shielding body is in the stowed position, the air flow paths (32, 35) for the stowed position takes in air, by using the blower (6), from the lower side of the light shielding body and discharges the air from the lower side of the light shielding body through the air purifier (7).
