Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a sunroof apparatus including a front panel and a rear panel which close a roof opening, wherein a slider coupling mechanism, which couples a front slider actuating the front panel and a rear slider actuating the rear panel, has a reduced number of parts, resulting in a compact, simplified structure. [Solution] The sunroof apparatus is configured so that: a coupling arm (75) is pivotally supported by the rear slider (74) so as to be swingable, and is provided with a stopper (100) for regulating the backward/forward movement of the rear slider (74) by engaging with a locking hole (101) formed in a guide rail (13); the front slider (30) is provided with a coupling pin (71); the coupling arm (75) is provided with a coupling cam groove (96); and moving the front slider (30) backwards to engage the coupling pin (71) with the coupling cam groove (96) results in the coupling arm (75) being swung to disengage the stopper (100) from the locking hole (101) and the rear slider (74) being coupled to the front slider (30) and moved in a backward/forward direction.
