A sunshade umbrella openable and closable by hand pushing, comprising a pole (1), a lower hub assembly (2), a rib assembly (3), and an upper hub assembly (4). A pole positioning ring (5) is fixedly provided at a position of the pole (1) between the upper hub assembly (4) and the lower hub assembly (2). The lower end of the lower hub assembly (2) is fixedly connected to a hand push handle (6). The lower hub assembly (2) comprises a lower hub (201) and a lower hub cap (202) that are sequentially connected from bottom to top. A rib opening and closing mechanism used in combination with the pole positioning ring (5) and the pole (1) to implement the opening and closing of the rib assembly (3) is provided in a space enclosed by the lower hub assembly (2) and the hand push handle (6). By means of a provided slider (7) and a first spring (704), the slider (7) is always clamped toward a center direction under the effect of the first spring (704). By means of a combined use of the provided opening and closing mechanism and the pole positioning ring (5), a canopy can be unfolded and folded by upward pushing and downward pulling. The whole umbrella folding and unfolding process only requires upward pushing and downward pulling, and does not need a button pressing operation or a rotation operation, thereby implementing convenient and quick use.
