The purpose of the present invention is to provide an eco-friendly sunshade wherein a mechanism capable of making the adhesion of the sunshade to a windshield smoother is used, thereby ensuring easy installation, in addition to excellent shading properties and storability. The sunshade for a vehicle is equipped with: a sunshade base fabric which covers the glass portion of the vehicle from within; an upper runner which has an upper surface part joined to the center of the lower hem of the body of the sunshade base fabric, the upper surface part having a side surface with a flat portion formed along the direction of the lower hem; a plurality of main ribs which each have an inside end that is coupled to the upper runner with a first hinge mechanism interposed therebetween and an outside end that is fixed to the peripheral edge end of the sunshade base fabric body; a stem; a lower runner which is slidably fitted around the stem; and first sub-ribs which each have an inside end that is coupled to the lower runner with a second hinge mechanism interposed therebetween, an outside end that is coupled to a corresponding main rib with a third hinge mechanism interposed therebetween, and an intermediate portion that is equipped with a telescopic mechanism.
