Abstract:
A mirror unit of a sunvisor for a vehicle comprising: a frame that is formed separately from or integrally with one half-body; a mirror attached to the frame; a slide lid 60 attached to the frame; a slide mechanism 70 that causes the slide lid 60 to slide relative to the frame, between an open position in which a mirror surface of the mirror is exposed and a closed position in which the mirror surface of the mirror is covered; and a position-holding mechanism 80 capable of holding the slide lid 60, which has been caused to slide by the slide mechanism 70, in the closed position and the open position. The interval length W1 between a pair of resin springs 64 in a natural state is greater than the interval length W3 between a pair of main guide rails 41, which in turn is greater than the interval length W5 between mutually facing protrusions 43, 44 on the pair of main guide rails 41. Additionally, the interval length W3 between the pair of main guide rails 41 is greater than the interval length W4 between a pair of auxiliary guide rails 22.
