Abstract:
This invention deals with a continuous, fluorocarbon thin film with super hydrophobic surface characteristics, i.e. characterized by static water contact angle values higher than about 120 DEG , preferably higher than 130 DEG , more preferably higher than 150 DEG , which is tightly bound to the substrate.
