Abstract:
This supercharger is provided with a separate wall surface 2c: which is part of a wall surface 2b on the side of a turbine impeller 9 in a bearing housing 2; of which the position of in the radial direction of a shaft is located farther in than the outer periphery 9b of a back surface 9a on the side of the bearing housing 2 of the turbine impeller 9; and which is separate from the back surface 9a in an axial direction of the shaft. The supercharger is also provided with a heat shielding plate 70 which has: a body part 70a (separate part) separated from the separate wall surface 2c in the axial direction and located between the separate wall surface 2c and the back surface 9a of the turbine impeller 9; and an insertion hole 70c (insertion part) through which a fastening member 71 is inserted in a direction intersecting with the axial direction of the shaft, wherein the heat shielding plate 70 is attached to the bearing housing 2 by the fastening member 71.
