A supercharger according to the present invention is provided with: a nozzle driving mechanism 20 that drives a plurality of nozzle vanes 62; and a support ring 30 that holds the nozzle driving mechanism 20 and that has a body part 31 having a heat shielding section 33e opposed to a turbine impeller 9 in a rotational-axis direction of the turbine impeller 9.
