Abstract:
This supercharger comprises an operation mechanism for operating a valve body of a wastegate valve by swinging an operation lever. The operation mechanism includes: a reciprocating rod of an electric actuator; a joint member that is fastened to the rod with a nut and reciprocates together with the rod; and a link plate that is coupled to the joint member via a first hinge part which has a center of rotation reciprocating on a predetermined virtual straight line in conjunction with the reciprocating of the joint member, the link plate being coupled to the operation lever via a second hinge part, wherein the distance between the swing center of the operation lever and the center of rotation of the second hinge part is shorter than the distance between the swing center and the virtual straight line.
