Abstract:
A superconducting current limiter having a composite insulation structure, comprising: a superconducting current limitation unit (1), an inner composite insulation cylinder (3), an outer composite insulation cylinder (4) and a cryogenic container (2); the cryogenic container having an outer composite insulation cylinder sheathed therein; the outer composite insulation cylinder having an inner composite insulation cylinder sheathed therein; and the inner composite insulation cylinder having a superconducting current limitation unit sheathed therein; wherein, the superconducting current limitation unit and the inner composite insulation cylinder being securely connected to one another via a first support member (34), and the cryogenic container and the outer composite insulation cylinder being securely connected to one another via a second support member (44). The present solution, by means of the cryogenic container being connected to the outer composite insulation cylinder, and the superconducting current limitation unit being connected to the inner composite insulation cylinder: takes gas bubbles generated by the cryogenic container and restricts same between the cryogenic container and the outer composite insulation cylinder; takes gas bubbles generated by the superconducting current limitation unit and restricts same between the superconducting current limitation unit and the inner composite insulation cylinder; and restricts the radial diffusion path of gas bubbles in a liquid nitrogen space, thus preventing the generation of gas bubbles between electrodes and enhancing the insulation effect of a resistive superconducting current limiter.
