Abstract:
Disclosed is a superconducting magnet device capable of emitting a stable magnetic field easily and inexpensively. A base configuration circuit (10) comprises a superconducting magnet (1), an excitation transformer (2), a switch (4), and a loss element (8). A primary circuit (20) is configured from the superconducting magnet (1), a second coil (12) of the excitation transformer (2), and the loss element (8), with the switch (4) in the off state. A closed circuit (30) and a closed circuit (40) are configured by switching on the switch (4). A prescribed electric current is supplied from a power supply (3) to a first coil (11) of the excitation transformer (2), electric current is induced in the second coil (12) of the excitation transformer (2), and electric current flows upon the closed circuit (40). When the switch (4) is switched off and the electric current upon the first coil (11) of the excitation transformer (2) is returned to zero (or a preset value), the primary circuit (20) is configured and the electric current that flowed upon the closed circuit (40) is extended upon the primary circuit (20), preserving a given electric current thereupon.
