Abstract:
This superconducting magnet device is characterized by being provided with a refrigerant circulation flow path which is configured to allow circulation of a refrigerant, a cooling means which cools vapor of the refrigerant flowing through the refrigerant circulation flow path, and a superconducting coil which is cooled by the circulated refrigerant. The refrigerant circulation flow path is configured such that the refrigerant branches into a horizontal flow path which extends in the horizontal direction and a vertical flow path which extends in the vertical direction, and the refrigerant flowing through the horizontal flow path and the refrigerant flowing through the vertical flow path merge. Further, the refrigerant circulation flow path is configured from at least two metal materials having different thermal conductivity: of the aforementioned two metal materials, the horizontal flow path is configured to include a first metal material and the vertical flow path is configured to include a portion consisting of a second metal material which has a greater thermal conductivity than the first metal material, wherein the aforementioned superconducting coil and the portion consisting of the second metal material configuring the vertical flow path are thermally connected.
