Abstract:
This superconducting magnet is provided with a superconducting coil (110), a heat shield (130) that surrounds the superconducting coil (110), a vacuum tank (140) that accommodates the heat shield (130), a magnetic shield (180) that covers at least part of the vacuum tank (140), and a refrigerating machine (160) that is affixed to the vacuum tank (140) and cools the superconducting coil (110) via a heat conductor (170). The magnetic shield (180) supports the vacuum tank (140) by being in contact with the vacuum tank (140) with elastic bodies (190) interposed therebetween.
