Abstract:
A superconducting magnet is provided with the following: a superconducting coil (110); a helium tank (120) that stores liquid helium (150) therein and houses the superconducting coil (110); a radiation shield (130) that surrounds the periphery of the helium tank (120); a vacuum vessel (140) that houses the radiation shield (130); an exhaust unit (190) that is connected to the helium tank (120) and exhausts vaporized helium; a lead (171) that electrically connects an external power source (170) and the superconducting coil (110) and that is removable from the vacuum vessel (140); a connector (160) that connects the lead (171) and the superconducting coil (110); and thermal conducting members (180, 280, 380), one end side thereof being in contact with at least either the connector (160) or the exhaust unit (190) and the other end side thereof being disposed on the outside of the vacuum vessel (140), and being removable from the vacuum vessel (140).
