Abstract:
This superconducting magnet (1) is provided with a coil (10) that forms a ring shape around a vertical central axis (A), mounting portions (23, 24) that support a prescribed support region (11) of the coil (10), and a disc spring (41) that imparts, to the support region (11), the pressing force from the mounting portions (23, 24) in the direction of the vertical central axis (A), said superconducting magnet (1) being characterized in that the mounting portions (23, 24) support the support region (11) so as to be capable of sliding in the direction in which the support region (11) moves back and forth toward the center of the coil (10).
