Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: a first superconducting wire rod, which has a first front surface, and a first rear surface on the reverse side of the first surface, and which also has a first superconducting layer and a first reinforcement layer; a second superconducting wire rod, which has a second front surface, and a second rear surface on the reverse side of the second front surface, and which also has a second superconducting layer, and a second reinforcement layer; and a connecting member that bonds the first superconducting wire rod and the second superconducting wire rod to each other. The first superconducting wire rod has a first end portion wherein at least a first reinforcement layer portion on the first front surface side is removed, and the second superconducting wire rod has a second end portion wherein at least a second reinforcement layer portion on the second front surface side is removed. A first front surface portion positioned at the first end portion is bonded, by means of the connecting member, to a second front surface portion at a position excluding the second end portion, and a second front surface portion positioned at the second end portion is bonded, by means of the connecting member, to the first front surface portion at a position excluding the first end portion.
