Abstract:
This superconducting wire rod (10) comprises a laminate (20) and a cladding layer (a stabilization layer (9) or a protective layer (7)). The laminate (20) contains a substrate (1) that has a principal surface and a superconductor layer (5) formed above said principal surface. The cladding layer (the stabilization layer (9) or the protective layer (7)) is laid out at least above the superconductor layer (5). The surface section (the surface section (25) of the stabilization layer (9) or the top surface of the protective layer (7)) of the cladding layer (the stabilization layer (9) or the protective layer (7)) above the superconductor layer (5) is concave.
