Abstract:
This superconducting wire rod is provided with a laminated body that includes: a first substrate having a first main surface; a second substrate disposed facing the first substrate; and a first superconductive material layer between the first main surface and the second substrate. In a cross-section orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the superconducting wire rod, a ratio w/h, i.e., a ratio of a width w of the superconducting wire rod to a height h of the superconducting wire rod, is 0.8-10. The width w is 2 mm or less.
