Abstract:
Provided are a superconductive wire material and a superconductive coil that have sufficient superconductivity characteristics and that can be manufactured through a simple manufacturing process. This superconductive wire material is provided with: a tape-like substrate that has a main surface; and a superconductive layer that is arranged on the main surface. The critical current value at an end in the width direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the substrate is larger than that at the center in the width direction.
