Abstract:
Provided is a technology capable of appropriately effecting focal depth magnification even if the conjugate position of an aperture changes. A supplementary imaging device 1 according to an embodiment is attachable to an imaging device 100 that has a master lens 2 and an imaging element 3. The supplementary imaging device 1 includes a front lens group 11, a rear lens group 14, and a phase modulation element 12. The phase modulation element 12 is movable along the optical axis, and decreases a change in movement along the optical axis of a point image formed on the imaging element 3 by the supplementary imaging device 1 and the master lens 2 compared to a case where the phase modulation element 12 does not exist. An imaging device 100 according to an embodiment has the master lens 2 and the imaging element 3. The supplementary imaging device 1 is attachable to the imaging device 100. The supplementary imaging device 1 is configured as described above.
