Abstract:
The invention relates to a supply device (1) for supplying a postal sorting conveyor (3) with postal mail items (2), comprising an unstacking head (4) designed to put the items on edge in series on the sorting conveyor, an unstacking plate (5) designed to unstack the items one by one toward the unstacking head and a conveyor (6) for supplying items, designed to convey the items on edge in a stack against the unstacking plate. The unstacking plate comprises a fixed portion (5a) that extends from the unstacking head and a movable portion (5b) that extends the fixed portion, said movable portion being mounted so as to pivot from the fixed portion between a first position in which the fixed portion and the movable portion are aligned and a second position in which the fixed portion and the movable portion are angularly offset.
