Abstract:
A support base and an outdoor umbrella using same. The support base comprises a support column (51), a plurality of legs (52), and a bottom pad (53). The legs (52) are hingedly connected to the lower end of the support column (51). The support column (51) is used for connecting to a supported object. The legs (52) can be flipped, around positions where the legs (52) and the support column (51) are hingedly connected, to a support base mounting surface and fixed. The bottom pad (53) is made of a flexible material. The bottom pad (53) is connected to the legs (52) and is provided below the legs (52). In the state that the legs (52) are flipped, around positions where the legs (52) and the support column (51) are hingedly connected, to the support base mounting surface, the bottom pad (53) is provided between the legs (52) and the support base mounting surface and is attached to the support base mounting surface. The outdoor umbrella is fixedly mounted by means of the support base. The support base pushes the structure of the bottom pad (53) open by means of the legs (52). The entire support base is foldable and reduces a transport space. A ballast can be obtained on site and placed on the bottom pad (53). For example, on a beach, sand can be placed; on a river bank, stones can be placed; and drinking water or the like can also be placed, such that the support base can be used for supporting a supported object that is easy to fall due to high center of gravity.
