Abstract:
The present invention relates to a support base for a snoring prevention device, which enables a more secure mounting of upper and lower mouth pieces to prevent accidental separation thereof, and as a result, significantly reduces the frequency of maintenance and repair of the snoring prevention device and greatly increases the service life of the snoring prevention device. In the support base for a snoring prevention device, the upper and lower mouth pieces, which are separably mounted on the upper teeth and the lower teeth, respectively, are integrated with each other through addition of a bonding resin onto the corresponding regions on the upper and lower mouth pieces, wherein upper and lower hooks are fixedly secured on the upper and lower mouth pieces, respectively, and engaged with each other such that the lower mouth piece is positioned further forward than the upper mouth piece, the support base comprising: a base body, which has a plate shape and of which lateral side portions are formed with a step and lower than a central portion at which the upper and lower hooks are engaged, such that the bonding resin can be stacked on the lateral side portions; a bonding resin filling hole, which is formed passing through at a boundary of the lateral side portions and the central portion of the base body; and an undercut portion, which is formed around the bonding resin filling hole adjacent to the central portion of the base body, and which becomes more expansive the farther the undercut portion is from the bonding resin filling hole.
