Abstract:
Disclosed are a support chassis (2) and a preparation method thereof, and a sofa comprising the support chassis (2). The preparation method comprises the following: providing a hollow strip-shaped panel (1), and machining an indentation (12) at inner bending points (24) on two sides of the hollow strip-shaped panel (1) where a bending structure is to be formed, the indentation (12) being in communication with the inside of the hollow strip-shaped panel (1); bending the two sides of the hollow strip-shaped panel (1) towards the indentation, so as to form the bending structure; and plugging the indentation at the inner bending points (24) of the bending structure using a slat. Using the abovementioned preparation method to make the support chassis (2), the raw material can be a hollow strip-shaped panel (1) without requiring a solid panel. In addition, in the machining process there is no need to heat the two sides of the hollow strip-shaped panel (1) where the bending structure is to be formed, as all that is required is to machine an indentation therein, then directly bend so as to form the bending structure. The machining time thereof is short, efficiency is high, costs are low, and deformation due to heating and cooling leading to sub-standard products will not occur.
