Abstract:
Based on past results, corresponding to a busy time zone in which a department store (50) is crowded and a quiet time zone in which the store is not crowded, a charging/discharging support centre (40) provides normal power trading price information comprising a power purchasing price paid when the battery (11) of a vehicle (10) is charged and a power selling price obtained when power from the battery (11) is sold. Then, if it is forecast that future traffic in the vicinity of the department store (50) will increase, the charging/discharging support centre (40) alters the power trading price that is normally provided and supplies to the user of the vehicle (10) power trading price information in which the purchase price paid for power when the battery (11) is charged in the store (50) is increased so as to be set at a higher level, while the selling price for power when power from the battery (11) is discharged is decreased so as to be set at a lower level.
