Abstract:
When a printing instruction for causing a printer 2 to perform printing of an image is made with respect to a general-purpose printing program 41, an auxiliary program 42 acquires current status information of the printer 2 from the printer 2, determines, on the basis of the acquired current status information, whether a display condition for outputting a message based on the current status information is satisfied, and, if it is determined that the display condition is satisfied, causes a UI 20 of a PC 1 to display the message.
