Abstract:
In order to facilitate storage printing operation that is unified with another information processing device, a PC1 in which an OS standard general-purpose printing program 41 and an auxiliary program 42 that supports the general-purpose printing program 41 are incorporated acquires setting information indicating whether to execute storage printing from a printer 2, and when the acquired setting information indicates that storage printing is to be executed, storage printing is set for a printing job that is based on a printing instruction, and the printing job is transmitted to the printer 2 in association with identification information of the printing job. Through this configuration, when the printer 2 receives a printing job from the PC1, the printer 2 saves the printing job without performing printing, and subsequently performs printing when a printing condition is satisfied.
