The present invention relates to a support stand for a bathroom, in which a support and a support bracket connected to the front end side of the support are installed in a main body having a control unit, and a mounting plate, on which an object is placed, is connected to and installed in the support bracket such that the angle of the mounting plate is controllable due to a screw coupling hole. Gear parts are formed in the form of a plurality of joints on the side surface in the lengthwise direction of the support and are mutually connected and combined in a flexible manner so that the support can appear in a curved shape from the upper section of the main body. A driving gear engaged with the gear parts of the support and a driving motor which drives the driving gear are installed on the inside of the main body. An elastic part is installed on the inside of the main body, the elastic part consisting of: a fixing holder which is put over the outer circumference of the driving motor so that the driving gear is coupled with the driving motor, is brought into contact with the gear parts of the support, and is elastically supported, and which has guide protrusion parts formed on one side thereof and spring support protuberances formed on another side thereof; a motor cradle which has rail parts guiding the guide protrusion parts of the fixing holder, and which has spring support grooves facing the spring support protuberances at one inner side thereof; and compression springs of which both ends are positioned in the spring support protuberances and spring support grooves so as to resiliently pressurize the fixing holder in one direction. A guide part is installed on the inside of the main body, the guide part having a stopper protrusion provided on the inside thereof, wherein the stopper protrusion hangs and supports the final support in a state where the support is withdrawn and stretched. The main body of the support stand is partially buried and installed in the inner wall surface of the bathroom in which a toilet is installed. A user sitting on the toilet to attend to a call of nature can position the mounting plate coupled to the end side of the support in front of the user, at the eye level of the user, by withdrawing the support from the main body through control by means of a controller provided on the main body, and can view a smart phone, a tablet PC, a book, etc. in a comfortable position so that the user sitting on the toilet is encouraged to be able to maintain a correct posture. When the support stand is not in use, it is possible to accommodate the support stand in the main body side and position the mounting plate as closely as possible to the wall side, whereby an independent place to relax is provided inside the bathroom due to the support stand.
