Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a support stand capable of maintaining a pleasing appearance regardless of the state of extension of posts. [Solution] A television stand 10 is provided with a base 20; posts 30, 30 erected on the base 20; a decorative plate 40 that covers the posts 30, 30; and a support bracket 50 that is provided on the posts 30, 30 and supports a television T, wherein: the posts 30, 30 can be extended by sliding upper posts 32, 32, on which the support bracket 50 is provided, with respect to lower posts 31, 31 erected on the base 20; and the decorative plate 40 can be extended by sliding an upper decorative plate 80, which is attached to the upper posts 32, 32, with respect to a lower decorative plate 70, which is attached to the lower posts 31, 31.
