Abstract:
The invention relates to a support structure consisting of carriers (1) formed by hollow profiles, especially forming a frame, for the bodywork of a motor vehicle. A carrier (1), especially a longitudinal carrier, on a load-optimised and weight-optimised support structure, comprises a recess into which a base element (6) of a functional module comprising functional elements (7a, 7b) is inserted as a supplementary carrier element.
