Title:
OPENING/CLOSING SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE BACK DOOR AND HINGE ASSEMBLY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/147803
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Opening/closing support structures for back-door openings provided at the rear parts of vehicles suffer from the problem of increase in weight and cost because reinforcement plates are attached to parts where hinges are to be bound and attached for binding damper stays. The present disclosure can ensure, even when a resin roof panel is used, rigidity for supporting a back door without diminishing the merit of weight reduction obtained by using the resin roof panel. A hinge 11 and a damper stay 20 are assembled by binding the head side 21 of the damper stay 20 to a hinge female 11 of the hinge 11 and binding the rod side 22 of the damper stay 20 to a hinge male 11m. Because of an assembled hinge assembly 10, a reinforcement plate for the damper stay 20 is omitted, and reduction in weight and cost is achieved.
