Abstract:
A support system for judging molecule interaction according to structure draws a 3-dimensional molecule image, so that the molecule image can be observed simultaneously from various directions by a plurality of observers, thereby estimating a structural interaction between molecules. In the support system for judging molecule interaction according to structure, 3-dimensional structure coordinate data of a main molecule to be observed is read in, the main molecule is displayed, and a portion displaying the molecule surface is selected. Another molecule to be observed simultaneously with the main molecule is displayed together with the main molecule, so that the main molecule and the other molecule can be simultaneously observed from a plurality of positions by a plurality of persons. The 3-dimensional image of the main molecule and the other molecule is rotated/shifted around an arbitrary axis and contracted/enlarged. The other molecule is engaged in the main molecule and an interaction between the main molecule and the other molecule is calculated. A contact portion between the main molecule and the other molecule is displayed so as to determine whether there is an interaction between the main molecule and the other molecule.
