Abstract:
A process for deposition of non-metallocene olefin polymerization catalyst on support comprises: reacting support with chemically activating agents to obtain modified support; dissolving magnesium compound in mixed solvent of tetrahydrofuran-alcohol to form a solution, adding said modified support into the solution to react, and filtering, washing and drying under reduced pressure to give a composite support; dissolving non-metallocene olefin polymerization catalyst into solvent and reacting with the composite support, and washing, filtering and drying under reduced pressure to give supported non-metallocene olefin polymerization catalyst. A supported non-metallocene olefin polymerization catalyst is prepared by the process of the present invention, and the catalyst is used for olefin polymerization or copolymerization of two or more different olefins. In a specific embodiment, the said supported non-metallocene olefin polymerization catalyst is used for slurry polymerization of olefin. The new catalyst of the present invention allows to manufacture polymers having improved morphology, increased bulk density and activities.
