Abstract:
Provided are a supported palladium catalyst, and the preparation and use thereof. The catalyst comprises a carrier, and palladium and a modifying component which are loaded on the carrier, wherein the carrier is selected from refractory metal oxides, silicon oxides, activated carbon, or combinations thereof, and the modifying component is selected from Bi, Sb, Pb, Sn, Zn, W, Mn, Si, Re, group VIII elements other than palladium, alkali metal elements, alkaline earth metal elements, group IIIA elements, group IB elements, rare earth elements, halogen elements, or combinations thereof. According to the in situ infrared spectroscopic analysis of pyrrole adsorption carried out at 40ºC, the catalyst presents an absorption peak in the range of 3251-3410 cm-1. The whole surface of the supported palladium catalyst is in a weakly acidic environment, and has a specific weakly alkaline center, such that the catalyst has a better catalytic performance.
