Abstract:
A supporter for an Achilles tendon, capable, in addition to being capable of minimizing the twisting of the ankle joint, of restricting the dorsiflexion of the ankle joint.
A supporter for an Achilles tendon, provided with: an inner supporter section which covers the Achilles tendon and peripheral portions on both sides thereof and which has an upper section which can be closed and fastened at the front at the upper portion of the ankle by a surface fastener; and an outer supporter section which covers a portion extending from the sole through the rear heel portion to the Achilles tendon and to the peripheral portions on both sides of the Achilles tendon and which has an upper section which can be fastened to the outer surface of the inner supporter section by a surface fastener.
