Abstract:
Provided is a supporter which consists of a small number of elements and can be easily worn when compared with conventional band-shaped clothings and, moreover, exerts effects on a wearer of increasing the abdominal pressure, preventing retroflexion and stabilizing the sacroiliac joints. A supporter (100) formed of a warp knitted fabric, comprising: a base material (10) wherein the knitting direction of the knitted fabric is referred to as the longitudinal direction (L), and stretchability in the longitudinal direction (L) is imparted while stretchability in the shorter direction (S) is regulated; a back-supporting section (11) which corresponds to the center part of the base material (10); projection sections (12) located on both sides of the back-supporting section (11), which respectively correspond to the both edges of the back-supporting section (11) projecting upward; and curved sections (13) wherein the boundary parts between the back-supporting section (11) and the individual projection sections (12) are curved approximately in the shape of an inverted "V".
