Title:
SUPPORTING AND ADJUSTING METHOD FOR RESTRAINING ASTIGMATISM OF A LARGE MIRROR SURFACE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/034144
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A supporting and adjusting method for suppressing astigmatism of a large mirror surface (1) comprises the following steps: detecting the wave front distortion in a optical system which comprises the large mirror surface or detecting the surface profile of the large mirror surface; using a data fitting method to obtain the direction (b) and size of the astigmatism; after adjusting the mirror surface along the direction of the astigmatism using a cross shaped supporting and adjusting method, detecting the wave front distortion or the surface profile again; using the data fitting method to obtain the direction and size of the adjusted astigmatism; if the wave front distortion is reduced or the surface profile is closer to a design result, adjusting the mirror surface along the same direction again, and vice-versa; repeating the steps mentioned above until satisfying the design result.
