Abstract:
The present invention accurately grips a component by means of a component gripping device regardless of variation in attitude of the component when automatically griping the component such as a vehicular door using an operation of a robot. A floating unit 20, according to the present invention, for supporting a material handling device 21 that grips a door 3 while an engagement pin 31 is engaged with the door 3 has: a support body part 70 that supports the material handling device 21; an X-direction shift mechanism part 71, a Y-direction shift mechanism part 72, and a Z-direction shift mechanism part 73 that support the support main body part 70 in a movable manner in each of the X-direction, Y-direction, and Z-direction; and an X-axis rotation mechanism part 74, a Y-axis rotation mechanism part 75, and a Z-axis rotation mechanism part 76 that support the support main body part 70 in a rotatable manner about each of the X-direction, Y-direction, and Z-direction which serve as center axis directions.
