Abstract:
This supporting structure for a light unit includes a vehicle body cover (23) that covers a vehicle body, and a light unit (31) that is encompassed by the vehicle body cover (23). The light unit (31) includes a housing (35) that forms a lamp chamber (34). A first wall-portion-side engaging portion (41) is provided at an upper-wall portion (37b1) of the housing (35). A first cover-side engaging portion (45) that is capable of abutting the first wall-portion-side engaging portion (41) in an up-down direction is provided at a part (25a) of the vehicle body cover (23) that faces the upper-wall portion (37b1). A second wall-portion-side engaging portion (51) is provided at a lower-wall portion (36b1) of the housing (35). A second cover-side engaging portion (55) that is capable of abutting the second wall-portion-side engaging portion (51) in an up-down direction is provided at a part (26a) of the vehicle body cover (23) that faces the lower-wall portion (36b1).
