Abstract:
This supporting structure for an underrun protector comprises: a stay body which connects a beam and a frame; a stay reinforcing body which reinforces the stay body from the outside in the vehicle width direction; and a gusset which is provided between the stay reinforcing body and the beam. An opening is provided on the stay body web surface of the stay body, and a pair of wall surfaces extending outwardly in the vehicle width direction from each end of the opening in the vehicle longitudinal direction is provided so as to face each other. Each of the wall surfaces is provided at a height corresponding to the installation position of the gusset, and abuts on the inner surface of the stay reinforcing body in the vehicle width direction.
