Abstract:
Provided is a surface electrolysis treatment device for slide fasteners, whereby the bipolar phenomenon can be used and surface electrolysis treatment can be performed on fastener elements of slide fasteners and whereby slide fasteners having reversible specifications can be easily and cost effectively produced. The surface electrolysis treatment device for slide fasteners comprises: an electrolyte housing unit that houses electrolyte; a tape track, for causing a fastener tape having the fastener element attached thereto to pass along same, and whereby at least the fastener element on the fastener tape passing along the tape track is soaked in the electrolyte in the electrolyte housing unit; and a positive electrode and a negative electrode that are arranged in a non-contact state relative to the fastener element in the electrolyte inside the electrolyte housing unit, for generating the bipolar phenomenon on the fastener element passing along the tape track. Either the front side or the rear side of the fastener element on the fastener tape passing along the tape track faces the positive electrode and the other out of the front side or the rear side of the fastener element faces the negative electrode.
