Abstract:
A surface fastener adapted for use in in-mold molding and easily following a curved surface, the surface fastener being formed by integrating a flexible foam resin layer on the rear surface of a rectangular piece of fabric which has a large number of engagement elements provided on the front surface thereof. Dense portions in which the number of yarns provided substantially parallel to the short side direction is large and rough portions in which the number is small are present alternately in the fabric in the long side direction thereof. As a result, the surface fastener for in-mold molding can sufficiently follow a three-dimensional curved surface, can be easily set in a mold, and has a high engaging force.
