Abstract:
The disclosed surface light-emitting device (1) is provided with: a plurality of first light sources (2a) which irradiate light in the same direction; a second light source (2b) which irradiates light in the direction orthogonal to the first light sources (2a); a first light guide plate (3); and a second light guide plate (4). The first light guide plate (3) comprises: an incident end surface (6) wherein the light from the first light sources (2a) enters; at least one incident end surface (8) wherein the light from the second light source (2b) enters; and an outgoing end surface (7) which is arranged on the reverse side to the incident end surface (6) and which emits the light which has entered the inside of the light guide plate (3). The second light guide plate (4) comprises a facing end surface (9) which is arranged so as to face the outgoing end surface (7), and the light guide plate (4) surface radiates the light which has entered from the facing end surface (9), from one main surface.
