Abstract:
A surface light-emitting device comprising: a light guide plate (1) having a glass plate (12) adhered and fixed to both surfaces of a resin plate (11) via an adhesive layer (14); and a light source (2) that causes light to be incident inside the light guide plate from one end surface of the light guide plate (1). A light source that has a blue central wavelength in the wavelength range of 460-490 nm or a light source that has a blue central wavelength in the wavelength range of 440-460 nm and a color temperature of no more than 4,000 K is used as the light source (2).
